Will Thomas Johnson

Our happy little Will

Will turned 3 years old on April 7th.  We celebrated his Birthday this year while we were at Lads to Leaders Convention at the Opryland Hotel.  What a way to wake up on your 3rd Birthday!  At the Opryland Hotel!  We took him to The Olive Garden and then had a Birthday Cupcake Celebration in Aunt Sherry, Uncle Randy, & MeMe's Room.  We of course had a BIG Mickey Mouse Party the following weekend, but the day was a lot of fun for our very special little man.  I thank God for my blessings and I start off by counting my children...one two and three.
Thank you dear Lord for all three of them!

Thank for the cake MeMe & Aunt Sherry!

Happy 3rd Birthday Will Thomas Johnson!

A lot of hard work went into that homemade pinata!

Will at Elmo Live for his Birthday!

Thanks for taking me & Mommy to ELMO LIVE Aunt Tana!

Since his BIG Birthday, Will has been playing a lot and hanging out with Seth and Maddie.  He enjoyed the summer where the kids were at home with him.  When they had to go back to school this August, he didn't like it very much but is adjusting to his routine of "Will's time" while they are at school.  When we were at the mall at the beginning of September Will took a little fall and landed on his chin and cut it pretty deep and required to have derma bond (glue) to get it properly healed back together.  Six days after that ER visit, at a football game, he was stepped on by a group of boys running around and his little fibula was fractured.  It was very scary when he woke the next morning and could not walk.  Xrays confirmed the fracture so Dr. Mayfield sent us to see Dr. Patton who put him in a cast for three weeks.  He just got it off yesterday and learning to walk again.  Life has been a whirlwind with the Johnson 5 but as always we stick together and pray for sunny days to come.

What a trooper!

Our little brave man!

Aunt Sherry came by with a care package :o)

Aunt Tana's care package:o)
He got a UK BLUE CAST!
Aunt Charla mailed him a care package :o)

The long awaited day for this cast to come off!

So there is a little update on our Will...I hope to start blogging more but I say that every time!
Here is a few moments over the passed months worth recapping!

Licking his SISTER'S food when she went to the bathroom then he laughed!

He said " I can't like Arby's bathroom!"  LOL

Seriously...

Our precious little Will...I love you to the moon and back!

Coming out from hibernation...it's been a hard winter!

Well, here we are! The Johnson 5...comes out from hibernation! It's been awhile since I posted. October actually...it's been a crazy few months, but we are good. Better than good because we have each other. When I sit and look at my precious family I think how there is nothing we can't do because we have an awesome God who protects us and guides us every day. I am so blessed to have these 4 people in my life and I love them each with all my heart. So here is to Living with the Johnson 5 blog...may there be more frequent post to come :o) and if not...well we are just busy people!

Happy 10th Birthday Maddie!

I can't believe 10 years ago my precious daughter was placed in my arms. She, much like her brothers, melted my heart instantly. Today, Maddie turned 10 years old. Her Birthday is a special day for many reasons but also because...she shared it with her Great Grandmother, Nanny Johnson. Today, Nanny would have been 100 years old :o)

Birthday Pictures will follow tomorrow...

Happy Birthday Maddie...you will always be Mommy's little princess!

The Johnsons were BEACH BOUND!

So, a little time has passed since my last post. Not too great for a first time blogger, but I am a devoted mother of 3 very busy children. Before our family trip to Gulf Shores over fall break, Seth had 3 major projects due in Language Arts that consumed most of mine and Shed's spare time helping him! We even called in all forces such as Aunt Sherry, Uncle Randy, Mal, Lindsey, Maddie and Aunt Tana to help out! Now it's over and done with, we are pleased to say all that hard work, tears, and sweat paid off...he got a 95%! Way to go Seth!!!

This photo starts just a few I am going to show you of our trip we took to the beach! If you are reading my blog, then you know me well enough to know that my family has endured a lot this year. We needed this get away... it was a very peaceful week we all enjoyed!

Caption for this photo: THE JOHNSON FAMILY :o)You should have been there for this photo!HILARIOUS...took me a few times running back to reset the timer. Needless to say I had the camera set too far away the first time :o) Live and learn!

My Three Monkeys on the Beach!

This is my children truly at their best! Gotta love their personalities...

The Little Zoo that Could...

We went to the Alabama Zoo...though you can't tell it in this photo, Will loved his first zoo experience. As always, I did too. The zoo is one of my favorite places! Can't wait to take the kids this spring to Aunt Charla's and go to the Cincinatti Zoo!
